Christmas Camp

Christmas time is often a very busy and exciting time for children. They are given a break from school and an open invitation to have fun, enjoy family and celebrate the season. During this time STARR GYMNASTICS Christmas camp gives the children an opportunity to get out of the house, learn new and exciting skills, interact with peers, all while having an awesome holiday experience.

Dates:
STARR FOR 1 DAY CAMP (December 23, 27, 30/2024 & January 2, 3/2025)

Price:
$64.00+HST per day

Full day (9:00am - 4:00pm)

Ages:
5 yrs - 12 yrs

Pre and Post care available from 8:00 - 9:00am and 4:00 - 4:30pm at no additional cost.

5-days CAMP ITINERARY:
Day 1/Monday: Regular Camp Day (focus on Gymnastics/Parkour with minimal activities throughout the day)
Day 2/Tuesday: Ninja Warrior Day. All campers will attempt a Parkour Obstacle Course in the afternoon.
Day 3/Wednesday: Theme Activities or Pyjama Day. Athletes can come to camp in their pyjamas and the coaches will have a mix of activities featured from our most popular Summer Camp weeks: Superhero Week, Sports Week & Disney Week.
Day 4/Thursday: Crafts & Trivia. Younger athletes will do a craft. Older athletes will do trivia.
Day 5/Friday: Starr Idol. Starr coaches will put on a show for the athletes.
If a week of Camp has less than 5 days, then we follow the Day 1, Day 2 etc schedule.

Daily Camp Schedule:
9:00 - 10:00 - Gymnastics
10:00 - 10:20 - Snack time
10:20 - 11:50 - Gymnastics and Games
11:50 - 12:20 - Lunch time
12:20 - 13:10 - Group Games
13:10 - 14:10 - Special Daily Activity
14:10 - 14:30 - Snack time
14:30 - 15:40 - Gymnastics
15:40 - 16:00 - Quiet Games and Wrap Up

What to expect during your week of camp:

• Staff, parents/guardians, and children must not attend the program if they are sick, even if symptoms resemble a mild cold. Symptoms to look for include but are not limited to: fever (38C+), cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion, headache, and a general feeling of being unwell. We highly recommend parents pre-screen the children at home each morning prior to arriving at the gym
• Please give yourself plenty of time at Drop off.
• Children will be asked to wash their hands as soon as they get checked into the facility, and many more times throughout the day.
• Photo ID will be required at Pickup.
• Items to bring: LARGE (filled) water bottle, INDOOR shoes, a few coloring crayons, reading books, journal.
• We are a nut and sesame seed free facility, therefore absolutely no peanut and/or sesame seed products should be sent in. Common snacks that should be avoided: hummus, bagels w/sesame seeds etc

PLEASE NOTE STARR GYMNASTICS IS A NUT AND SESAME SEED FREE FACILITY. NO NUTS OR NUT-RELATED PRODUCTS AND NO HUMMUS PLEASE.
